The youth mini-rugby season launched in style this weekend in front of a full house at the National Stadium. The fledgling league, which features over 150 boys and girls, was showcased in the break between Sunday's matches. Young stars from the under-11 league featured in two seven-a-side exhibition matches and were given a rousing ovation by the crowd. The new season officially kicks-off on November 25 with three competitive leagues - under-10, under-12 and under-14. There are non-competitive divisions at under-7, under-8 and under-10 level There will also be coaching for children of five and above, with a tag-rugby league for the under-7s.
