Mackerel managed to stay in the Fishbowl title picture with a 3-1 triumph over Marlins. A loss would have left them flopping around on sand as even with the win they are four games out of first.

Barbara Smith was the only woman who managed a 200 with a 201. Peggy Mello (190) and Brenda Burrows (185) had the next best scores. Mello and Sandra Ford tied for the high handicap series with 620s. Corrine Durrant (614), Yvonne Joseph (605) and Smith (609) all topped 600. Alpheus Santucci led the men with a 264 scratch game. Ted Swiss (238), Gladwin Harvey (218), Mark Basden (204), Elvin Thomas (203) and Brian Botelho (202) all registered 200s. Basden edged Swiss by two pins for high handicap series when he rolled a 663. Quinton Mallory had a 654 while Santucci bowled a 652.

Gang in Blue held on to a double-digit lead as they downed Strikers 15 to 5.

Patrice Tucker's 212 was good enough to edge Carla Whitehurst by one pin and Josie Richardson by two for high game. Whitehurst also had a 561 series with Richardson bowling a 549 and Tucker a 532. Carl Reid converted his 234 into a 607, but Damien Matthews had the high series with a 624. Vernon Daniels (233), Renalda Bean (224) and Robert Dill (615) also topped the honours' list.

Armadillo Ladies Classic

Lucky Strikes almost whitewashed Upstarts but had to settle for a 19 to 1 triumph. The win still left them 23.5 points out of first as leaders Classy Ladies picked up 16 points.

Rochelle Harvey rolled a 219 on her way to a 571 series. Traci Lambe also burned up the lanes with a 235 and 565. Carla Whitehurst (212) and June Dill (555) also made the honours' list.
