Logie is looking for rain to disappear
Cricket Kenya chairman Samir Inamdar told reporters that it has been raining day and night leaving preparations for the series in disarray.
He said: "We are hoping for sunshine on tomorrow (Friday) so that we can prepare the grounds ahead of the series."
Earlier in the week, Bermuda coach Gus Logie told the Bermuda Sun he was hoping the rain, which washed away his sides Intercontinental Cup chances, would abate in time for them to have a genuine crack at beating the Africans in the One Day series.
Logie said the side had endured a frustrating opening to the tour as the seasonal Kenyan rains wiped out two-and-a-half days of the scheduled four-day clash, which ended in a draw earlier this week.
And the squad flew to the coastal town of Mombasa yesterday afternoon, a 45-minute plane journey from the capital Nairobi, with the threat of more interruptions on the horizon.
"Our information is that it is the rainy season in Kenya and there is some more rain expected in Mombasa," said the coach.
"It's certainly a possibility that there will be some shortened matches."
According to the BBC Weather Centre it is currently the second rainy season in Kenya - which is quirkily characterized as 'less conspicuous' than the first.
Neil Speight, chief executive of the Bermuda Cricket Board, said he was not aware that it was a 'rainy season' in Kenya and hoped it would not be a factor as the tour continued.
"Scheduling of the ICC Intercontinental Cup games was organized by the ICC at a scheduling meeting last year that had ICC reps and reps from all countries there.
"At no stage did anyone raise any issues re playing in Kenya in November then or at anytime subsequent to that."
The BBC were forecasting thunder storms later today in Mombasa, but suggested it would clear up for the weekend. More rain was predicted early next week.
Meanwhile Logie, who will welcome back Irving Romaine and fast bowler Kevin Hurdle, said the team had a good training session on Wednesday and were starting to get acclimatized.
" We were still able to train on the pitch, even though the match was called off, so we took advantage of that.
"After the last few days it was a good opportunity to get outside and run around a little bit."
