Lancelot wins dressage opener
The show's judge, Bermuda's own Christopher Taylor, got to witness the likes of some seasoned dressage riders and their pupils vie for top scores at the BDG's first show for the season. Lauren Adcock and her mount Cinderella took the first test honours by winning the third Level Test 1 while Alison Mitchell riding Swarovski won the Training Level 1 Test with Jackie Scott and Scooby Doo finishing second.
The day's top scorer was Dawn Fox and Lancelot who took first place honours and bragging rights in the elementary sr. test and the Intermediate test posting the day's highest scores of 72.6 per cent and 73.5 per cent respectively.
Ann Lindroth on Woodgate placed second in the elementary sr. test and second on her second mount After Dark in the Intermediate test.
Our junior riders, Ashley Gibbs and Tyler Lopes took home first place honours in their preliminary and preliminary jr. respectively. Tyler Lopes this week will be heading to the Bear Spot Children's of America Dressage Invitational. Tyler has been successful at this competition for the past three years and we wish him all the best.
