Labour Day activities for Monday
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3: The organisers of Labour Day activities have paired with Spanish Town to spice up the event and attract a younger crowd while appreciating and honouring those who “paid their dues” over the years.
The theme for the day is “Unity in the Community, Let’s Work Together”.
A number of exciting young performers will be on hand to entertain those present.
The full slate of activities for Monday includes the 5-mile road race at 8:30am, the road walk, speeches and the increasingly popular “Bermazing Race”.
The road march begins at 11:30am and ends at Union Square. It will be led by the Bermuda Regiment and features a variety of labour organizations and supporters.[[In-content Ad]]
