Juniors overhaul PHC for lead

The Pembroke Jrs overhauled the PH Club for the lead in the Barritt's League. The Juniors downed the Young Blood 26 to 4 and that was enough to move into first place by a half a point.

PHC struggled a bit with the Logic Rollers, defeating them 23 to 7.

Other scores saw Southside 2 beat the Old and the New 24 to 6, Southside 1 lose 12 to 18 to Buy and Sell, and Sparks double up Stash T 20 to 10.

Dean Lightbourne rolled a 258 to take high game honours. Anthony Zuill (242) and Michael Honore (238) were second and third best on the night.

Commercial League

BTC dialled up an important win as they defeated frontrunners Double Trouble 3-1. The victory pulled BTC to within two games of Trouble.

The Royal Gazette pressed the Sweet Life for a 3-1 triumph while Kings Pins were toppled 3-1 by Do It Best Masters. Other scores saw Spinners down Braves 3-1 and Sunset take a 3-1 victory over Strikers.

John Adams rolled a 226 game and was joined in the 200 club by Marilyn Simmons (214), Anthony Smith (219) and Michael Honore (201). Sharon DeShields (181) and Christine Adams (181) also rolled good games.

Fishbowl League

Patrice Tucker was one of the bright spots for Marlins as they lost 3-1 to Tuna. Tucker rolled a 210 to top all the women for high game. Francis DeSilva rolled a 244 game to lead all the men, but Jackie Miller (227) and Ralph Dill (220) bowled well.
