Juniors are on the ball

By David Lambert- | Comments: 0 | Leave a comment

I’ve been hosting a junior Easter tennis camp at Pomander Gate this week so I'm going to talk a little bit about the value of these camps for young players.

They are always recommended because of the fact that it gives kids at different levels the opportunity to interact and practice with other players.

Most programs work on shot production and then you go into drills where you have an opportunity to practice putting the shots together and work on your overall game.

It's also a chance to meet other players of a similar level and find new friends and playing partners.

Most of the hotels and tennis clubs on the island run camps during school holidays. Contact your local club or pro for more information on which one is right for you.
