WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23: Otis Ingham rode his way fourth place in the first day of competition at the Mini Os Supercross in Gainesville, Florida on Monday.
Ingham was a part of a four-strong Bermuda contingent from Team Rock Island Racing at the Gatorback Track.
He competed in the Plus 45 category against nine riders from six American States. Ingham was sixth after the first of eight laps and moved up to fifth after the second.
The third lap saw him pull into third and maintain his position to the end.
Zamair Darrell was ninth out of 22 riders in the 65cc Class for seven- to nine-year-olds.
Darrell started off seventh and gradually slipped back one position for each of the next three laps. He then fell further behind to 11th but battled back to pass two riders on his final lap to take ninth.
Andre ‘AJ’ Durham and Chekari Gibbons both competed in the 250 C Stock Class Heat 2.
Competing against 21 other riders, Durham hovered around the 15th to 17th position for the entire heat, while Gibbons finished 20th after moving up two positions on the final lap.
Both Ingham and Darrell advance to the finals but Durham and Gibbons will have an opportunity to advance in the Last Chance Qualifiers.
