Bermuda's Tom Healy and Jack Ellision have been shortlisted by the West Indies Rugby Union to participate in the iRB Sevens World Series to take place in Hong Kong from March 27th-29th, 2009.

The Rugby West Indies selection committee included Bermuda's Jonathan Cassidy and was chaired by Joe Whipple of Barbados. Whipple also serves as the team's coach.

Also invited to try out include: Bahamas: Devon Woodside, Andrew Bain, Jeremico Cooper, Duran Beadle; Guyana: Richard Staglon, Rupert Giles, Claudius Butts, Albert LaRose, Theodore Henry, Kevin McKenzie; Trinidad & Tobago: Jason Clarke, Andre Carbera, Wayne Kelly, Kidane Silverthorne, Bevon Armitage, Graeme Alkins; Jamaica: Nicholas Pusey, Donald Walters, Everton Walters; Cayman Islands: Joshua Clarke, Michael Wilson; St. Vincent & the Grenadines: Hollis Green

A Select West Indies Team will be chosen to participate in the Caribs Beer invitational Sevens tournament in Trinidad and Tobago in December and a Select West Indies team will be chosen to participate in the Punta del Este International Sevens Tournament in Uruguay in January.
