Free lobster for Social Media Day
TUESDAY, JUNE 28: The Fairmont Southampton is participating in Social Media Day this year by inviting their loyal Facebook fans and Twitter followers to partake in the celebrations.
Started in 2010 by Mashable.com, Social Media Day will be marked by a series of worldwide virtual and “real” events on June 30th across the world. This internationally recognized event celebrates the contribution of social media that enable people to connect with each other across the world.
Greg Bodenlos, Fairmont Southampton’s Manager, Internet Marketing said, “The impact of social media on communications, marketing, entertainment, finance, and human interaction has been immeasurable. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has been active in social media from the start and in Bermuda we have taken this corporate commitment to social media seriously by continuing to steadily grow our engagement levels on social media’s most popular platforms.”
To take advantage, all fans will need to do is just stop in and mention “Go Social” to their server.”This offer provides One (1) free Lobster cocktail appetizer to guests or visitors who are either Fans of our Facebook Page www.facebook.com/fairmontsouthampton or followers of our Twitter profile www.twitter.com/fairmontsouth who spend a minimum of $30 on food and beverage (before gratuities per check) from 4-8 pm on Thursday, June 30, 2011 in the Fairmont Southampton’s Jasmine Lounge.
