Forecasters say winds will ease
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 4: Windy weather conditions experienced island wide are expected to calm down later today.
The winds are expected to continue to ease as the day goes on thanks to high pressure from the west.
The forecast by the Bermuda Weather Service said: “High pressure gradually builds in from the west, helping winds to continue to ease through the day.
“Showers will also become less numerous this afternoon but a few are still expected to cross the island until the evening.
“Thursday begins settled but another cold front brings showers and strong winds during the evening and into Friday morning.
“Conditions settle again later Friday and into Saturday.”
Today is expected to see sunny periods with few showers and tonight will see partly cloudy skies with a chance of showers.
The high is near 63 degrees with the low near 59 degrees.
