Foggo: We want the Twenty20 Cup too
Foggo was a key player for Rec in the 50-over season, helping them win promotion to the Premier League.
Now he wants the team to show they can handle the step up in class by beating the big boys in the Twenty20 Cup, starting this weekend.
"It would really put the icing on the cake to win the Twenty20.
It's been a great season and the Twenty20 is almost like the FA Cup because the Premier teams are mixed in with the First Division.
"As a player that has been involved with the national team there is extra responsibility on me to step up."
He said Rec had already beaten a number of Premier Division sides - Police in the Central County and St. David's and Cleveland in Open Cricket.
"I feel we have the ability to win it. It is not guaranteed, it's going to be a tough road but I think we can do it."
Foggo believes the Twenty20 competition which will see his side take on St George's on Saturday and Bailey's Bay on Sunday is the perfect way to end the season.
"It will be exciting to see how the crowd is going to handle it. Everybody is looking forward to it. It's a game for the spectators so we are hoping to get some fans in."
