FRIDAY, JUNE 3: Etana will finally step on the stage at the St David’s Cricket Club on Saturday night for Serious Times part two.
The reggae star was due to perform on May 21 at the same venue with Gyptian but had immigration issues and was unable to leave the US.
But she will arrive on Friday and perform Saturday night where there will be an all female line-up.
Just One Promotions is organizing the show, which is called Conscious Daughters.
It will feature Sia Spence, Sister Mandy, Joy Barnum, and more alongside Etana.
A live band will back all acts this time around.
Organiser Declan Harris said: “Hopefully, people that were there for the first one know the type of event they can expect, the quality of event they can expect.
“We hope that part two lives up to what part one brought.
“The advantage to this one is that people will perform to all live bands.
“From that standpoint, it should be much more enjoyable.”
He continued: “For those who missed the first one, they can come out because they heard the positives from the first one.
“They can come out and have a good time, peace and tolerance and a mature crowd.”
Those who have tickets from the first event can exchange their ticket for a new one for Saturday night at Jamaican Grill Locations and LIDS in St George’s.
No tickets will be exchanged at the gate.
Tickets are $50 in advance and $90 for VIP.
Part proceeds of the event will go to the Women’s Resource Centre.
