The event on Sunday is the 48th annual founders’ Day Luncheon and Drum Major Awards, which will take place on Sunday at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.
Dr. Brown, 29, is the first graduate of CedarBridge Academy to become a doctor.
He practices at Hope Health Care and is the president of Ultra Concepts Group.
Dr. Brown, a PLP member for the past five years told the Bermuda Sun he would be speaking on the theme of looking back and moving forward.
“It’s going to be broken up into four parts. We’re going to be looking at looking back into the party from the beginning until now.
Struggles
“And then when we won the election in 1998, talking about some of the struggles that we had to endure, some of our transformations and set backs.
“It will be a positive speech.”
Dr. Brown said a portion of the speech will also focus on honouring past leaders of the party and those who helped make it successful.
“We will also be talking about how our party has remained strong over the years and what differentiates us from the UBP and the BDA.
“One of the major differences is that our party is all-inclusive. We include young people in everything.”
He continued: “The younger members of the UBP went to form the BDA because they felt their voices weren’t being heard.
“In our party, we’re standing strong because we include our young people.
“You see many of them in Government today. They are talented, educated and motivated to get the job done.”
Dr. Brown said the looking forward section of his speech will focus on where the party is going.
“The whole party is in reset mode to analyze where we have come, where we are today and where we would like to go in the future.”
Dr. Brown said has no political aspirations at the moment and prefers to stay behind the scenes.
The luncheon will take place at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.
In addition to the speaker, there will be a play written by Patricia Nisbett and performed by CedarBridge Academy students.
There will also be a presentation of drum major awards.
This year’s recipients are Sam Maybury for tennis, Dr. Melvyn Bassett for education, Kenneth Bartram for the Duke of Edinburgh programme, Marlene Smith for community service, and the Bermuda Police Reserves for their dedication to community safety.
Tickets for the luncheon are $60 and can be bought at Alaska Hall.
