D&J succumb to Marsh Madness
Bermuda Blueprinting erupted for eight runs in the final two innings to soar past Logic by 12-5. Garic Swainson (3/5) homered and drove in four runs. Chris DeSousa (4/4) homered twice in defeat.
Docksiders Tuff Dogs crushed AF Smith by 26-12. Dion Collum (5/5) drove in four runs and Rickelle Smith (3/5) added two. Jonathan Smith (4/4, 4 RBI) went deep for his team.
AF Smith came back with a narrow 10-7 win over D&J Construction. Richard Hazlewood drove in three runs for AF Smith. Jahmall Mills hit a three-run shot for D&J. The Beach won again, taking a 13-6 decision over BISYS to smother their opponent's chance at first place in the B Division. Kevin Hunter (3/4) hit two homeruns and drove in five. Phil Corigliano hit a three-run shot for BISYS.
Renegades ran over Robin Hood for a 19-8 victory. Preston Mallory (HR) and Millard Rawlins (4/4) each drove in five runs for the Renegades. Mary Hopkins (2/4) drove in two in the loss.
Butterfield Bank Bulldawgs were already trailing Endurance by 20-6 when an ejection ended the game in forfeit. Jesse Heldeman (3/4) drove in four runs for Endurance and Dianne Blais (3/4) brought in two. Ron Mystyk drove in two runs for the Bulldawgs.
TBI Highspeeders shut down BNY Juggernauts for a 14-4 win. Chris Pitcher (4 RBI) homered and Leo Thyne added three hits for TBI. Tim Morris drove in two runs for BNY.
HSBC opened with 14 runs as they easily defeated KPMG by 19-3. Gavin Collery (3/4) drove in four runs and Pat Neal (3/3) brought home three. Ro Crowden drove in a run for KPMG.
Men’s division
Barracudas took a 20-13 decision over E&Y. Chad Cundliffe (3/6, 3 RBI) hit a pair of homeruns in the win. Eric Haller hit a two-run shot for E&Y.
Travel Connection Jets swept the season series over Police, cruising to a 30-9 win for their third victory. Mike Jardine (6/7) doubled three times and drove in six runs for the Jets. Troy Glasgow chipped out four hits for the Police.
Tuff Dogs sank Sea Venture by a 19-10 count. Ryan Gaglio (3/6) slammed two homeruns to drive in five. Deon Bell (3/4) homered twice to drive in four in the loss.[[In-content Ad]]
