After graduating next year she hopes to study for her masters’ degree in accounting and then gain the CPA.
Deloitte awarded its $5,000 Bursary to Travis Trott. Mr Trott graduated from Warwick Academy and is studying for a degree in business with a double major in accounting and finance at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
A spokeswoman for Deloitte & Touche said: “The aim of the Deloitte Scholarship and the Deloitte Bursary is to give our Bermudian students assistance in the funding of their education, as well as hands-on, practical experience.
“Both recipients have also been offered positions with our Deloitte Exclusive Experience Programme (DEEP) for the summer of 2012.”
The annual Scholarship is presented to a Bermudian student interested in pursuing a career in accounting or financial services.
