D & J Construction implodes

AF Smith scored 20 runs before the first inning mercifully ended, rolling over D&J Construction by a final of 25-6. Dan Kidd (4/4, 9 RBI) connected for two homeruns, while Colin Smith scored three times in the opening frame. Andy Pereira and Jeanine Harris combined for four hits and drove in two for D&J, but also split the pitching duties and combined to give up 14 walks to their competitors. Tony Humphries (3/4) drove in five in the win.

BNY Juggernauts batted around twice in the fourth inning, as they crushed MCS by a final count of 24-3. Chris Dizinno (3/4, 4 RBI) slammed a pair of homeruns and Jason Green (3/3, 3 RBI) added a solo shot for BNY, while Taragh Power (RBI) added two hits. Jill Lister drove in one of the runs for MCS.

PwC Onions coughed up the lead in the final inning, but managed to salvage a 7-6 win over KPMG with some heads-up baserunning. Scott Slater (3/4, 2 RBI) hit a two-run homerun in the sixth to push PwC ahead, before James Makin (4/4, 5 RBI) tied the game for KPMG. Zack Rothman scored from second base on a groundout by Henri Hanelcom to end the game.

TBI Highspeeders traded volleys with HSBC before finally prevailing by 19-16. Chris Pitcher (4/4, 6 RBI) slugged two homeruns and Alan Richardson (3 RBI) added another for TBI, who also picked up runs from Sionna Barton and Danielle Correia. Pat Neal (3/5, 5 RBI) collected three extra-base hits including a three-run homerun, and Gary Carr (3/4, 3 RBI) slammed a homerun for HSBC.
