Crowd gets behind Vicente

By Don [email protected] | Comments: 0 | Leave a comment

Spaniard Fernando Vicente didn’t need any help in reaching the Bermuda XL Open final as he defeated Antony Dupuis 6-0, 6-0.

The final would be a different story altogether as he dropped the first set to Luxembourg’s Gilles Muller 2-6.

Things began to change in the second set as the spectators started to root for Vicente after Muller lost his composure on a couple of occassions.

The Spaniard won the second set handily 6-2 before taking a hard-fought third set 7-6 (3).

Robert Lindstet and Tomas Cibulec won the doubles title over Jeff Morrison and Alex Kuznetsov 7-6 (1), 6-3, 10-4.[[In-content Ad]]
