BEST finishes undefeated
Olympia 28, Arctic 13
Olympia finished second, blasting Arctic Airconditioning by 28-13 over five innings. Pat Reardon homered and Sue Wood drove in four runs in the win. Will Rowse hit a grand slam and drove in seven runs to highlight Arctic.
Docksiders 10, ACE 8
Docksiders Tuff Dogs took top spot in the B Division, edging ACE Kings by 10-8. Darrin Cassidy, Adam Mattatal and Bill Saunders each homered and drove in three runs. Dan Sullivan had two hits in the loss.
Police 17, BF&M 10
Police Enforcers slipped into second place, knocking off BF&M Sharks by 17-10. Jason Ming hit for the cycle to drive in four runs, while Doreen Burgess added three hits for the Enforcers. John Blanchard hit a two-run homerun for BF&M.
ACE 22, Marsh 6
ACE pounded Marsh by 22-6, opening with eleven runs and never looking back. Don Burgess went 6/6 and drove in a pair of runs to lead ACE, while Tina Robson brought home two in support. Andrew Dicombe collected three hits to drive in three for Marsh.
BF&M 20, Marsh 19
BF&M found the win column at the end of the season, narrowing defeating Marsh by 20-19 for their lone victory on the season. Donny Moniz cracked a three-run homerun and Mike Soares drove in three. Mike Fullen homered twice for Marsh.
TPC 16, Argus 15
TPC Tee's finished the regular season tied for top spot in the D Division, edging Argus by 16-15 along the way. Marco Almeida lined five hits and drove in four runs for TPC, who scored four times in the seventh inning to claim the game. Shervin Jennings added three hits and drove in two runs. Richard Tory homered and drove in five runs for Argus, while Bob Kennedy added four hits and four runs batted in. n
