SUNDAY, JULY 24: Sullivan Phillips led Bermuda to its first ever Caribbean Basketball Men's Championship win on Saturday in the Bahamas.

Phillips had 18 points as Bermuda beat St. Vincent 75 to 56.

The men's team successfully defended its Island Games gold medal and are making their second appearance in the CBC championships.

New Digicel scholarship winner Te'Jour Riley had a dunk that got the crowd involved as Bermuda used that adrenaline to go on a twenty point lead.

Phillips also had 11 assists, 4 steals and a block. Jahvon Jones added 16 points, while Jason Simons and John Lee added 11 points each.
