Bermuda asked to 'shop local' this Christmas
The campaign is spearheaded by the Bermuda Small Business Development Corporation (BSBDC), Government and the Chamber of Commerce.
Kim Wilson, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, said: “The larger message that we want to share is that we need to support our local retailers.
“We need to be able to sustain our economy by supporting our retail sector.”
She continued: “I know I will be shopping Bermuda and shopping local and I encourage all of you to do so as well.”
There will be commercials airing on local television to promote the campaign.
There are 10 stores included in the campaign so far, including Foreign Cargo, Brown and Co., Clara Bows Boutique, Toxic Rose Boutique and more.
