Bay confirmed for Twenty20 semis
The Bermuda Cricket Board awarded them the points from from Sunday's match against Somerset Cricket Club, which was enough for them to finish second in their group.
Meanwhile third and fourth place rivals Flatts Victoria and Devonshire Rec were given a share of the spoils.
A press statement from the Board said: "In Group B, Southampton Rangers finished top as they beat Devonshire Rec and were awarded the points against Leg Trappers as they could not field a team.
"Baileys Bay have secured second place in the group having been awarded the points on Sunday as Somerset failed to field a team, with Flatts and Devonshire Rec's game being rained out."
It also confirmed that St. Davids won Group A with Police finishing second.
That sets up this weekend's Lindo's Twenty20 championships at the Northern Fieldsof the National Sports Centre.
On Saturday the first semi final will be between St. Davids and Bailey's Bay at 11am, which will be followed by Southampton Rangers v Police at 2:30pm.
Rangers may have to deal without inspirational leader Janeiro Tucker who was scheduled to have surgery on his knee this week and may not be able to play on it in time for the weekend. n[[In-content Ad]]
