Bank picks up pair of wins; kicks sand on the Beach

Allpoints opened with seven runs, as they downed BISYS by 29-13. Jason Pethick (4/6) went deep and drove in six, while Trevor McHaney added four hits. Phil Corigliano (3/4) and Fred Jean both drove in three runs in defeat.

Allpoints kept the momentum going, as they overpowered The Beach for a 14-4 win. Joan Chang doubled in two runs for the Allpoints, and Mike Sterzuk added two hits. Joe Logan drove in two runs for The Beach.

Renegades scorched nine runs in the second inning en route to a 23-6 demolition of Bulldawgs. Millard Rawlings (3/4, 4 RBI) connected for two homeruns to lead the Renegades, and Sakena Clarke (3/5) drove in another two.

BISYS turned the tables on the Renegades, scoring runs in bunches while shutting down their opponents in a 19-10 victory. Marc Weaver (2/3, 4 RBI) hit a grand slam to highlight an eight-run fifth inning. Santos Garcia (4 RBI) hit a grand slam in the loss.

D&J Construction scored five times in the second inning and coasted to a 12-7 win over Docksiders Tuff Dogs. Ben Haplin (3/4) doubled twice to drive in three. Ross Dowling (2 RBI) hit a solo homerun for the Dogs.

Endurance edged Robin Hood by 12-8, scoring three in the sixth inning to seal the game. Rick Dorush (3/4) drove in three runs. Paul Martin (2 RBI) collected four hits to lead the bandits.

Sea Venture rolled over a short-handed Little E's team, claiming a 16-8 victory. Al Chavez (3/4, 4 RBI) and Chris Coleman (2/4, 3 RBI) homered in the win. Brian Hawitt (3 RBI) collected three hits for the E's.

Snowballs scored four times in the sixth inning to add some breathing room in a 29-21 win over Castlewood. Greg Periera (7 RBI) cracked two homeruns while Bruno Richard (4/6, 5 RBI) added another shot. Barry Griffiths (3/5, 5 RBI) hit a grand slam in the loss.
