BAC is celebrating its 50th birthday in a big way — with a grand reopening of its new Kohler Showroom.
Lily Wilson burrows said some overseas representatives from Kohler are flying in for the event.
She said: “The Kohler Next Generation Showroom has a lot of the latest technology.” She added the Showroom has been “amped up” with eye-catching displays and hi-tech products for kitchens and bathrooms.
“There’s a lot of the major new technologies. The newest thing we have is a showerhead that plays music. We are also the first to have the touchless kitchen faucets.”
The new faucets have an infrared sensor that turns on when a hand or dishes are passed underneath it.
The musical showerhead can be detached and uses Bluetooth technology.
Ms Wilson Burrows said: “We also have tubs that play music and lights under water, and vibrates.”
The celebration will take place over two days with a private function on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm.
She said: “That’s when we are going to have a lot of our dignitaries, execs and the guys down from Kohler.”
The Thursday event starts at 1pm at BAC and is open to the public.
