Don't walk or run alone or wander off established trails or paths.
This is the advice from police spokesman Dwayne Caines following an incident involving a flasher.
A naked man wearing a ski mask was seen on Warwick Long Bay at the weekend, and his identity is still unknown.
Police do not believe the man poses a “serious threat” but are still advising people to “remain vigilant and employ common sense practices”.
Mr Caines discourages people from going out alone after dusk, just in case.
“Also, let someone know where you are going and what time you plan to be back,” he said. “Finally, where possible, carry a cellphone.”
The man, who is described as stocky and has a light brown complexion, was spotted on Sunday. No further details about the incident were forthcoming.
Anyone who has any knowledge of this individual is encouraged to contact police on 295-0011.
