Mikey Wollmann, Ben Smith and Malcolm Smith all made impressive starts to the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club’s Frostbite Series at the weekend.

In the 420 class, Wollman picked up four wins and a second to seal overall victory in the seven-race meet. Competitors were allowed to discount their two worse results. Peter Dill and James Amaral were second and third respectively.

Ben Smith dominated the laser radial class with five victories putting him clear of Ceci Wollmann, who was one step behind him every time.

Thomas Penruddocke won the battle for third.

In the laser standard class, Malcolm Smith picked up five wins to set up victory. Rockal Evans won twice as he came second, while Richard Neame was in third.
