St David's win Premier Division title
The scheduled Premier Division action was a complete washout on Sunday, leaving St David’s to celebrate their second league crown in three years.
A key title clash was on the cards against Willow Cuts, who were 16 points behind at the start of the day, while Southampton Rangers were 12 points behind.
But the rain ensured no play was possible anywhere on the island and every team was awarded five points, prompting big smiles in the St David’s dressing room.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Southampton Rangers defended their Western Counties title with a four-wicket win over Warwick at White Hill Field.
Warwick were all out for 91 and Rangers reached their target for the loss of six wickets.
