Celeb watch: Talk show queen was in town

Miss ‘How You Doing’ was in Bermuda this week. Talk show queen Wendy Williams arrived on the island last week Thursday and stayed until Tuesday.

Rumour has it she was staying at the luxurious Rosewood Tucker’s Point. What we do know is she satisfied her craving for island food.

Wendy Williams is an American media personality who hosts a syndicated talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, which airs on Fox and BET. She was also a shock jock radio host with her own syndicated show and was inducted in the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2009. 

Williams, her husband Kevin Hunter and their son stopped in Fish & Tings late Tuesday morning before they left the island.

Patrick Channer, manager of the Jamaican restaurant said Williams stopped by just after 11am and stayed a few minutes.

“She just came in to get her food. She was a down to earth person. She said she had heard about the food from away and she wanted to try it.”

Vandleta Tyrell, an employee of the restaurant was also in the store when Williams came (see photo):

“We talked. She said she liked Bermuda and she would be back next year. We were actually watching her show and she came in.

“She was here for five days and was on her way to the airport.”

Maybe Williams will give Bermuda a much-needed plug on her talk show.  Wouldn’t that be great? 

Fame-thirsty Kim Kardashian caused a frenzy after baby North West was allegedly seen in public.

According to E Online, Kanye West, Kim and baby flew to Oklahoma to his grandfather’s funeral. There are photos of Kim coming out of what looks to be a church holding what appears to be a baby under a blanket.

So why are people freaking out? It’s not as if we saw the baby’s face. For all we know, there could have a doll under that blanket and the whole thing was a big photo op trick. I wouldn’t put it past Kim K!

Anyways, we are scheduled to see photos of the baby today (Friday) on her grandmother, Kris Jenner’s talk show. The show is horrible so she needed something to boost ratings.

According to Hollywood Reporter, West will be interviewed on the show and will share pictures of baby North. After two months of being hidden from the public, this baby better be the most beautiful baby to ever grace the planet earth!
