A 43-year-old woman who allegedly commented on a news website that someone should assault Justice Carlisle Greaves will face trial in July.
At her first appearance earlier this month, Carolyn Drover, of Hamilton Parish, denied soliciting or attempting to procure someone to assault Justice Greaves while he was on duty, because of a sentence he imposed.
Additionally, Ms Drover was charged with soliciting or attempting to procure someone to assault the judge on January 25.
The defendant allegedly posted a comment on a Royal Gazette story.
She allegedly wrote that someone should assault Justice Greaves — and posted his address.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner initially remanded Ms Drover into custody but she was released after a bail hearing six days later.
She will stand trial on July 24 and a pre-trial hearing will be held on June 24.
Charles Richardson represents Ms Drover. Her bail was extended.
