Teen injured in Pembroke shooting

A teenager was rushed to hospital today after a shooting in Pembroke. 

The 19-year-old man suffered minor gunshot injuries as a result of the shooting which took place at around 12:45pm in the area of Curving Avenue and St Augustine's Hill. 

He was taken to hospital with what described as 'superficial injuries' and later discharged from hospital."

Police spokesman Dwayne Caines said: "Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have seen two man on a motorcycle acting suspiciously in the area to contact police on 295-0011 or they can call the Crimestoppers hotline on 800-8477."
