Police investigating three Warwick burglaries
Police responded to a burglary that took place at a dwelling on Purvis Estate in Warwick sometime on Monday. The complaint states they left their home secure in the morning only to return after work and found out that someone had entered the residence and made off with a Toshiba Laptop, Orange Kiplin Wallet, a Casio watch, and other items.
Meantime, police attended another residence on Purvis Estate on Monday where a complainant states they left their home secured on Monday morning, only to return that afternoon and noticed someone had gained entry into their residence and made off with a gold Rolex watch other pieces of jewelry and liquor from the kitchen. There was also an attached dwelling that was broken into, taken was a gold Gucci wrist watch, a Rolex watch, also, a number of Louis Vuitton Ladies hand bags, along with other items.
Also in the same area, police spoke with a complainant who states that on Monday morning his dwelling was left secured, however when he returned it was ascertained that someone gained entry into his home and made a tidy search and made off with a jewelry box and other undisclosed items.
The Bermuda Police Service believes that these incidents are linked and officers from the Western Investigation Unit under the direction of Sgt. Burns are caring out enquires into this matter.
Police are asking persons to take note of anyone trying to sell (fence) any of the listed items and contact Western CIU on 23-41010.
