Golfers clinch fourball... basketball... football changes

• Golfers Darryd Dillas and Will Haddrell had a convincing win in The Bermuda Amateur Four-Ball Championships over the weekend.

They finished with a gross score of 11 under par with the team of Jevon Roberts and Mark Phillips finishing five shots back at six under par.

The first two days of competition were quite tough with a strong wind off the ocean the first day and a cooler but equally-strong breeze from the NW on the second.

 In the Ladies’ Championship Flight, the team of Ebonie Burgess and Elizabeth Parsons were equally dominant, finishing well ahead of the second place team of Elaine Stevens and Tracy Nash.

• The Premier Basketball League begins on Saturday, November 16, at 6:30pm Somersfield Academy gym.

• The following football matches at Devonshire Rec in the coming weeks have been changed:

—  The Premier Division match between DRC/PHC on Sunday, November 17, has been moved to Friday, November 15 at  8pm.

— The Premier Division match between DRC / HPWC on Sunday, November 24,  has been moved to Friday, November 22 at 8pm.

— The Premier Division match between Wolves / DRC on Sunday, December 1 is moved to Friday, November 29 at 8pm.

— The Premier Division match between DRC / Dandy Town on Sunday, December 8 has been moved to Friday, December 6 at 8pm.
