E&Y grounds Jets

E&Y scored twice in the eighth inning to edge Travel Connection Jets by 21-19. Ryan Ross (3 RBI) and Monte Palsat (5/5, 4 RBI) homered for E&Y.

Tracey Bean (5/6, 2 RBI) hit a solo shot for the Jets.

Tuff Dogs opened with eight runs in a 27-7 whipping of the Jets. Kevin Taylor (5/5, 6 RBI) homered twice, and Steve O'Flynn (3/4, 3 RBI) added another.

Preston Mallory drove in two runs in the loss.

Sea Venture scored 14 times in the third inning to make the difference in a 29-11 win over E&Y. Al Chavis (3/5) and Terence Corday drove in four runs each.

Steve Velotti (3 RBI) hit a three-run homerun for E&Y.

SVOS posted three separate innings with at least seven runs, as they trampled Barracudas by 30-7. Mark Herauf (4 RBI) and Joel Czember (5/5, 3 RBI) blasted homeruns in the win.

Dean Martin (3/4) knocked in two runs in the loss.

Barracudas came out firing on all cylinders in their follow-up game, blasting Police by 32-1. Shannon Gosse (4/5, HR) drove in seven runs, while Matt Clifford (5/5) brought in five. Dennis Joell drove in the lone run for Police.

BISYS crushed Endurance by 28-10 to lock-up a playoff spot and keep their title hopes alive. Mike Totman (5 RBI) hit a grand slam and Jameel Effendy (5 RBI) added a three-run shot for BISYS. Goretti Clementimo also drove in three runs.

Butterfield Bank Bulldawgs slammed Robin Hood by 30-5. Colin Hulks (5/5) homered and drove in seven, while Karen Chaif knocked in four runners. Al Busby (2/2) drove in a pair in defeat.

Docksiders Tuff Dogs scored seven times in the third en route to a 19-7 win over Logic. James Adderly (5 RBI) hit two homeruns and Harry Andrews (4/5, 4 RBI) added another. Jess Swinamer drove in two for Logic.

Bermuda Blueprinting scored seven in the fifth inning to take a 27-22 decision over Marsh. Stephen Bridges (6 RBI) and Jason Ming (4 RBI) homered. Kourtney Cotton (3/5) drove in three runs to lead Marsh.

Ernst & Young closed out their season with a 19-16 thriller over BEST Shipping. Ryan Amlin (3/5) homered and drove in four runs, with Mandy Palsat (3 RBI) adding four hits. Scott Doughty (3/5) drove in five for BEST.

HSBC squeezed by BNY by 12-8 in a battle of the banks. Gavin Collery (3/5) knocked in two runs for HSBC.

Taragh Power doubled home a run for BNY.

BNY roared back to thump KPMG by 21-5. Chris Dizinno (3/4, 4 RBI) homered twice and Keenan Press (2 RBI) added five hits for BNY.

James Makin (2/3) drove in three for KPMG.

Hammer-heads scored eleven runs in the last two innings to pull out a 31-24 win over TBI Highspeeders. Alex Smith (4/6) drove in seven runs to lead the way. Victor Fishington (3/5) brought in three for TBI.

TBI followed up with an 18-7 win over MSL. Chris Pitcher (4/4) homered twice to drive in seven. Maureen Resser drove in a run for MSL.

Sea Venture blasted ACE by 23-11 to put their opponent's playoff fate in another team's hands. Terence Corday (5/6) cracked two homeruns to drive in seven. Paulo Arruda drove in three for ACE.

Robin Hood edged Bank of Bermuda Allpoints by 17-15. Al Busby (3/4) drove in four runs, while David DeSilva brought in three. Scott Montreuil drove in three in the loss.

The Beach continued their late-season surge, as they crushed Butterfield Bank Bulldawgs by 22-8. Kevin Hunter (3/4) drove in six runs, and Matt O'Connell (4/4, 5 RBI) added a three-run homerun. Andy Lapointe (3/4) drove in four runs for the Bulldawgs.

Endurance held on for a 23-20 win over Renegades. Mark Quesnel (5/5) homered and drove in nine runs for Endurance. Kijuan Franks drove in five for the Renegades.

In Men’s Division play, Barracudas edged Travel Connection Jets by 21-18 to secure the final playoff spot in the division.

Heath Kihn (4/6, HR) and Chris Weisco (3/4, HR) each drove in four runs.

Tracey Bean (3/4) hit a three-run shot for the Jets.

Tuff Dogs scored a controversial run in the eighth inning to drop E&Y by 15-14. Steve O'Flynn (4/5) slammed two monster homeruns in the win, driving in eight runs.

Trevor Angus (3/4) drove in three runs for E&Y.

SVOS dominated Police for a 28-16 win. Danny Cook (4/7, HR) and Al Chavis (4/6, HR) each drove in five runs.
