Allpoints trump Bulldawgs for bank supremacy


Bank of Bermuda All Points overcame a slow start, scoring large in the late innings to take a 19-10 victory from Butterfield Bank Bulldawgs.

Trevor McHaney (4/5) doubled twice to drive in three for the All Points, while Ian Moores (2 RBI) added a solo homerun.

Brian Ward (3 RBI) went deep to lead the Bulldawgs, with Colin Hulks (3/4) adding a pair of run-scoring doubles.

The Beach posted a dozen runs in the sixth inning to pull away from Endurance, scoring a 21-13 win.

Blaine Bernard (3/6) drove in five in the inning, while Bob Petty (3/6) brought in three more.

Eric Totten showed off his classy shoes by pounding a solo homerun, and Mickey Dotzel (3 RBI) added four hits.

Disa Angus also drove in three runs for The Beach.

BISYS scored six times in the sixth inning to edge Robin Hood by a final of 18-16.

Phil Corigliano (2 RBI) and Fred Jean (3/5, 2 RBI) homered for BISYS.

Algernon Busby (3/4) led all batters with a pair of homeruns, driving in eight runs for the bandits.

Sea Venture opened with five runs, as they cruised to a 20-13 win over Little E’s.

Terence Corday (6 RBI) and Jon Gazzard (3 RBI) slammed homeruns, with Sarah Tufts adding three hits. Mike Mazza (3 RBI) had four hits for the E's.

Snowballs scored six runs in the final inning for a 16-12 comeback win over Castlewood.

Andy Soucie (3 RBI) slammed a three-run shot that stood as the game-winning hit.

Braxton Stowe (3/5) and Bruno Richard (3/5) each drove in four runs. Danny Penton (3/4, 4 RBI) went deep in the loss.

White Mountains Re coughed up the lead in the final inning, but managed to score the winner in the eighth to escape with a 13-12 win over ACE in extra innings. Lisa Bennett (2/4) doubled in the game-winner.

Mike Soares (2/3, 3 RBI) and Steve Halischuk (3/4, 3 RBI) homered for the White.

Paul DeCouto (3/4, 5 RBI) slugged a grand slam to spur the ACE comeback.

Games are scheduled to resume on January 4 with B Division.
