The Premier Division championship race heated up last weekend.

Only two points separate leaders Boulevard from third placed Devonshire Cougars, the defending league champions.

Cougars avenged this season's Charity Cup defeat to Blazers by handing their arch-rivals a 1-0 loss.

Yet despite suffering a second league loss of the season, Boulevard still top the pile by a solitary point over second placed PHC Zebras while Cougars remain third.

Zebras edged Somerset Eagles 2-1 to keep hot on the heels of Blazers while North Village Rams beat fading Somerset Trojans 2-1 to lock down fourth position.

Eagles slipped from eighth to ninth to join Hamilton Parish in the relegation zone.

Last weekend's biggest winners were Dandy Town Hornets and Devonshire Colts. Hornets blasted Southampton Rangers 5-0 to climb from seventh to fifth while Colts thumped Hamilton Parish by the same score to go from ninth to sixth.

First Division

Robin Hood increased its lead in the First Division with a 1-0 win over Social club while second place St. David's drew with east end rival St. George's 1-1 to fall three points behind.
