The Bermuda Hogges are looking to add up to five new players before the new season starts next month.
Hogges bosses met with last season's squad last week and aim to begin pre-season training next Monday.
Coach Kyle Lightbourne said he was looking to strengthen his strike force and add reinforcements in defence.
He said he would invite the potential new recruits to train with the Hogges during pre-season before finalizing the squad.
The coach would not be drawn on names but PHC defender Tokia Russell, Hamilton Parish front man Jamie Smith and Dandy Town hot-shot Raymond Beach are believed to be on the Hogges' wish list.
"The centre forward area is our main concern.
"In the midfield area and out wide we have got plenty of options but it is no secret that we are short up front. "We need to score more goals and stop leaking as many at the back if we are to make the play-offs."
Lightbourne said he had a few players in mind but insisted he would have his eyes open over the closing stages of the domestic season for any potential new recruits.
The Hogges lost John Barry Nusum, who transferred to Crystal Palace Baltimore, and Keishen Bean, who has gone back to college, in close season, leaving them short of options up front.
