Bascome advances to Argus semis
Number seven seed, Alexander Cooper, started well against number two seed, Julien Pinot, in the Men’s Open Singles by taking the first set 6-4, however his game started to suffer from unforced errors as Pinot gained his composure approaching the net and ending the points early. Pinot took the next two sets and the match 4-6, 6-4, 6-0.
