Police searched the offices of TV station ZBM Monday.
The Bermuda Sun understands officers presented a search warrant shortly after 2pm. The station's lawyers appealed to Chief Justice Richard Ground for an injunction, which was refused.
The Police left Bermuda Broadcasting empty-handed shortly after 7pm.
We understand the activity is linked to the leaking of a confidential police file about an investigation into alleged corruption at the Bermuda Housing Corporation four years ago that mentioned Government MPs, including Premier Ewart Brown. No prosecutions were brought against any senior figures in the governing party.

Documents missing? If it did not happen regularly why were special (insufficient) measures put in place?

To see a raid on the TV station and then the Newspaper is outrageous. Almost makes me affraid to sign my name, but I'm not. It seems like it is more serious to "leak" information about a crime than the crime itself, what kind of hell hole do we live in? The consoldation I have is that I am proud that I did not vote these idiots in, and if that is what the "people" want, then that is what the people got.
