Tickets for the Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts will go on sale on Monday, November 9 at 10am. Tickets are available online at www.bermudafestival.org and www.bdatix.bm; at box office locations - iStore, 46 Reid Street, Hamilton and Fabulous Fashions, Heron Bay Plaza, Southampton; and by phone on 232-2255. As before, a $3 ticket surcharge applies for telephone bookings. The surcharge does not apply to online tickets or tickets purchased at box office locations.
BHB appointment
The Bermuda Hospitals Board has appointed Preston Swan as its vice president. In this role, Mr. Swan will be responsible for patient safety, clinical risk management, accreditation compliance, resource utilization and clinical auditing throughout all BHB operations.
Road closure
Cemetary Road will be closed between Animal & Garden House and the Gorham's lumberyard entrance, Hamilton to through traffic this weekend, starting at 8pm on Friday, November 6 and finishing late Sunday, November 8.
