A 72-year-old tourist died of a suspected heart attack after a helmet-diving trip off the east end yesterday afternoon.
The man, who was visiting Bermuda aboard the Norwegian Majesty cruise ship, collapsed on board the boat after completing a helmet dive with Peppercorn Diving.
Staff tried to revive the man, who was visiting with his wife, but to no avail.
Graham Maddocks, who runs the helmet diving operation out of Grotto Bay, extended his condolences to the family.

Thank you for posting this article. This gentleman is my best friend's father who was so loved by all. After 48 years of marriage both him and his wife were still so very much in love. Sympathy goes out to the entire family. So sad!! We love you Poppa Strube!!
