Simon Jones

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17: A teenager has been convicted of killing Kellon Hill.

Kellan Lewis was found guilty of the manslaughter of Mr. Hill at Supreme Court today.

Lewis, 18, had been charged with murdering Mr. Hill by stabbing him with a knife when a fight broke out at a party close to Elbow Beach on the evening of August 9, 2008.

He was cleared of murdering Mr. Hill.

But he was convicted of the lesser offence of manslaughter as well as possessing a bladed article in public.

Lewis of Peacock Crescent, Pembroke was remanded into custody and a sentencing date will be set on April 1.
