FRIDAY, JULY 13: Multi national championship winner Keanu Wilson, 15, returned to compete in the highly competitive GP125 classification in 2012 after winning the Superbike 600cc championship in 2010 and finishing runner-up in the Supermoto championship in 2011.
Wilson joins a highly competitive field which includes the reigning champion Bruce Degrilla Jr and two-time GP125 champion Cyril Whitter III.
These three competitors have more than 10 BMRC national championships between them.
Wilson, who attends CedarBridge Academy, currently maintains second position overall in the 2012 GP125 championship stands after swapping race wins with his competitors week after week over the past five rounds of the national championship series.
Wilson was picked up as a sponsored rider by Wet & Wild Water Trucking Service at the beginning of the 2012 season which has helped him in his campaign to take his first GP125 national championship.
Previously he has won the GP70, GP80 and Superbike 600 classification titles during his tenure.
The next round of the BMRC National Championship Series will be held on Sunday, July 15.
Racing starts at 1pm with tickets costing $10 for adults and free admission for seniors and children under 12.
The BMRC membership fee has been reduced to $60 from $120. The AGM will be on August 8.
