WEDNESDAY, FEB. 22: Naquita Robinson is leading by example for North Village Lady Rams. The player-coach knocked in two more goals as Village beat Somerset Trojans 6 to 2.

Kyla Ramatar also scored a brace while Khyla Brangman and Tschana Wade each added one.

Somerset managed to keep in close in the first half. Tasia Trott and Adelia Cann each wrote their names on the scoresheets for the Trojans.

Robin Hood 0, PHC 4

In the game of the game of the evening, fans were treated to non-stop excitement as Robin Hood had no answer to PHC who jumped out to a three goal lead by the first half.

PHC shut down their opponents smooth passing skills with constant defensive pressure. Robin Hood will have to rebound from this loss if they have any hope of winning the league.

Teen sensation Aaliyah Nolan had two goals while Waynesha Bean and Kali Lespere each had one.

HPWC 1, Dandy Stars One 8

Dandy Stars One overwhelmed HPWC, who despite the final tally had plenty of scoring opportunities.

Selena Thompson and Raini Maybury led the way for Stars with three and two goals each respectively. Zahra Gibbons, K’Sheala Burch Waldron and Kyanah Outerbridge  each added to the Stars rout.

Lellanni Nasbeth had the lone goal for Hamilton Parish.

YMSC 3, Dandy Stars Two 5

Another entertaining match, with Dandy Stars Two scoring all of their goals in the first half.

YMSC showed a never say die attitude and mounted a strong comeback in the second half, but fell just short. Sandra Medeiros had a brace while Chai T added one for Social Club in the comeback bid.

Alana Burchell and Jaylen Bean led the way for Stars with two goals apiece. Rickelle Smith scored for the victors.

This Saturday’s games will start at 5 pm at the Bermuda College Gym.
