WEDNESDAY, MAR. 7: Queen’s Club 1 defeated Warwick Workman’s Club1 6 -0. Karl Wilson got the ball rolling for Queen’s Club 1 by defeating Gary Bascome 81-19. Mike Zimmerman won his match against Keith Smith 56-20. Matt Garrod defeated James Talbot 71-20 and 57-22. The doubles game saw Karl/Mike defeat Keith/Gary 68-35.

Watford Sports Club 1 defeated Royal Artillery Association1 5 – 1.

Steven Bremar was off to a great start for WSC 1 by defeating Mike McGowan 72-34 and 63-25. Joseph Hayward put RAA1 on the board by winning his game with a black ball re-spot against Ray DeSilva 50-43. Zane DeSilva won his game against Honky Burrows 59-46.  The doubles game saw Maurice Hawkins/Zane defeat Joseph/Honky 50-36.

Queen’s Club 2 defeated Watford Sports Club Two 4 – 2. Aaron Bean won his game against Jimmy McGill 65-28. John Nicoll defeated Tony Dawson 50-42. Roger “Sticks” Henderson and John Burns won a game a piece. Sticks won the first game 69-50 and John won the second game 61-55. The doubles game saw Rick Dorush/Greg Swinbourne defeat Bean/Timmy Simons 81-50.

Royal Artillery Association 2 defeated Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club2 4 -2.

Bart Lewis defeated William Richardson 49-45. Johnathan Peniston won his two games against John Pedro 56-49 and 46-19. Andy Peniston defeated Ross Spurling 55-31. The doubles game saw Bart/Ross defeat Joshua Peniston/Jacal Washington 59-25.

Spanish Point Boat Club 3 and Sandy’s Boat Club 2  battled it out for a 3 – 3 draw. Steve Holloway defeated Aaron Carvello 33-22. Chris Bromby won his game against Stephen Panchaud 62-40. Richard Beale won both his games against Mike Camara 57-37 & 88-26. The doubles game saw Holloway/Panchaud defeat Bromby/Carvello 61-29.

Zane DeSilva captured the high break of 36 for the night.
