MONDAY, APRIL 9: Sprinter Jaret Simmons was the standout Bermudian athlete this morning as he qualified for the 200-metre final.
The young Bermudian finished second in his heat in a time of 23.04 seconds.
Simmons will now take his place in the under 17 boys final, which is due to start at 6:40pm this evening at the National Stadium.
Meanwhile fellow Bermudian sprinter Kidane Callender missed out on a place in the under 17 200-metre final.
