WEDNESDAY, FEB. 29: Alana Burchall helped fire Dandy Stars Two to victory over Hamilton Parish by scoring a goal in each half in their Women’s Futsal game at Bermuda College.

Stars won the match 4 to 2 as Rickell Smith and Atiya Symonds also hit the back of the net.

Stars had control for most of the game, but Hamilton Parish were never really out of it. Lelanni Nesbitt dominated play for HPWC and scored twice.

Dandy Stars One 3, North Village 6

The balanced scoring attack of North Village was too much for Dandy Stars to overcome. Village had too many options to defend as six different players scored for the Lady Rams.

Leanne Yates, Kyla Kamatar, Khyla Brangman, Whitnae Duer, Carrie Strong, and Naquita Robinson all wrote their names on the score sheet.

Rayni Maybury had two goals for Stars while K’sheala Burch-Waldron added one.

PHC 2, SCC 2

The match of the evening, saw a spirited SCC play their best game of the season. Fans were treated to non-stop action as both teams went back and forth in each half with PHC  falling behind in the first half one-nil after a penalty kick by SCC player/coach Lissa Fisher, who inspired her younger players with her never say die play. Tasia Trott also scored for Somerset while Aaliyah Noland and Coyshea Fox tallied for PHC.

Robin Hood won by default over YMSC, who was unable to field a team.

Games start at 5pm on Saturday at the Bermuda College Gym.
