SATURDAY, AUGUST 11: Two men have been charged with a offences relating to a home invasion in Pembroke last month.

Justis Smith, 34 and Tyun Smith-Ming, 24, were charged yesterday in Magistrates' Court with aggravated burglary with a knife, using an imitation firearm to commit an indictable offence and using a firearm to resist or prevent their arrest.

The alleged incident took place in the early hours of July 24.

The men, from Pembroke, were not required to enter pleas as the matter is indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court.

Lawyer Elizabeth Christopher represents Mr Smith and Dantae Williams represents Mr Smith-Ming.

Both men were remanded into custody for two weeks.
