TUESDAY, JULY 31 UPDATE: The 7-year-old Pembroke boy injured when the pedal cycle he was riding collided with a car along St. John’s Road in Pembroke near the junction with Langton Hill around 7:15pm on Sunday, July 29th remains in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC David McHugh on 295-0011.


MONDAY, JULY 30: A young boy is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following a road accident yesterday evening.

A police spokesman said the accident was reported at 7:15pm. A car and a pedal cycle were travelling along St John’s Road in Pembroke near the junction with Langton Hill when they collided.

The pedal cyclist, a seven-year-old boy, was taken to hospital where he is in stable in the ICU. No one else was injured in the crash.

Police are investigating the accident and witnesses are asked to call PC David McHugh at 295-0011.
