We voted for change, so what happened?
Friday, May 10, 2013 5:00 PM
Larry Burchall: Given the slim overall national vote majority and the final 19 – 17 split, just one off an even-steven finish; the public didn’t exactly consign the PLP to hell nor did it elevate the OBA to Heaven.
The PLP’s election loss was primarily due to bad timing
Friday, May 10, 2013 4:00 PM
Rolfe Commissiong: It’s amazing that someone such as Larry Burchall who failed to win a primary to be selected as a Progressive Labour Party candidate prior to the 2007 election, would contend, as he did in his column of last week, that a successful PLP candidate, who, having won his seat comfortably at a time when many PLP candidates were losing theirs, was somehow one of the major factors that cost the PLP victory, at the 2012 general election.

Friday, May 10, 2013 1:33 PM
LaVerne Furbert: Surely Dr Brown's legacy could be fairly described as "controversial" or "exciting" or "anti- colonial", but "bitter?"...I don’t think so.
You only get one chance to get motherhood right
Friday, May 10, 2013 1:30 PM
Elaine Murray: In the summer of 1989 I started to clench. Clenching is when your jaw muscles become so stressed, so tight that you are barely able to open your mouth... In 1989 I became a mother.

Friday, May 10, 2013 1:26 PM
Shawnette Somner: In these very difficult financial times when so many people are out of work, it is imperative that all those applying for a job take with them some essential tools.
Burton's Banter: On a wing and a prayer at the End-to-End
Wednesday, May 08, 2013 12:12 PM
Burton's Banter: Who knew cycling the Catlin End-to-End dressed in a full-body chicken suit could be so much fun?
