It seems it was not long ago that we were talking to you,
If only we could see you again, even for a minute or two;
Although we know that this is not to be,
oh how sweet it would be to have you here full of glee;
We no longer ask why or how this has happened to you,
Time has allowed us to reflect and for the answers we need to get in a queue;
As we reflect on you not being here we still wish if only for a few,
You will never be forgotten and we will always miss you.
